Nova wasn't sure how she knew it was Phobia. She thought of the clues about the council woman's death. The look of fear on her face. Falling several stories from a building when she could fly. The note. One cannot be brave who has no fear.
She had grown up with that phrase. It was a comfort for her. It was Phobias catchphrase. It all made sense.
"Are you sure?"asked Hugh.
"Positive."
He bit his lip. "The council will discuss this. We'll have your sentence ready in the next twenty-four hours."
