" You have your smell around the ice cave. Did you make it? " Eros grumbled out

" I did "

" How? " Kitty tilted her head in fascination.

Alpin smiled at the curiosity of the female and snapped his fingers.

Frost started sorrounding the house in exiquisite patterns.

Delicate snowflakes fell on Kitty as she squealed in delight

" This is amazing!! Is there anything else you can do? "

" I can mess with other's head " Alpin casually said

Winston and Eros who had only just relaxed tensed again

' he said what now? '

" Really? How? "  Kitty asked him her eyes shining brightly

Alpin peeked at her male's sighing.

' So her talking about gore with such passion is a usual thing '

" I can manipulate with anyone's senses. Show them what I want by making illusions and manipulate their senses enough to make them live the illusions "

" That's so adorable. I would torture the shit out of a spy "

Alpin looked amused at the use of ' adorable ' and 'torture' in the same sentence. This female is truly weirdly interesting.

And he was right on his judgement. She wouldn't think of him as a monster. Wouldn't be scared of his gifts.

" Wait, how old are you? "

" Well, if you ask me how long I have been living, I'd say around twenty years but if you ask me for how long I have been alive, it's around a thousand years " he sighed

Kitty choked on her drink

" What do you mean? "

" Well, Nine- tailed foxes after attaining their beast form at maturity go to sleep for thousand years. It's to stabilize our powers "

" So you are not born in your beast form? " Eros asked for Kitty as she was still gaping

" Yes "

Kitty, Eros and Winston had left the room to discuss about this awkward situation

" He's strong " Winston shrugged

" And hot " Eros added

Both Kitty and Winston turned to stare at Eros who stared back

" What? We're all super hot, I want this legacy to continue" he whined

Kitty only sighed and sat down on the bed.

" I just took Winston as my mate, I don't want to take another so soon "

" Then you could allow him to court you " Winston suggested

" That sounds about right "

The trio walked back into the hall and were meet with a rather hilarious scene.

Alpin who was surrounded by the little snakelings was continuously apologising to them and those little bastards were having fun pretending angry.

" Ahem " Eros coughed catching their attention

He raised a brow at his sons to have a snakey grin and slithered away.

" So......." Kitty awkwardly said fumbling with the hems of her dress " I've - well we have decided to allow you to court me "

" Wonderful " He gave them all a huge grin, his fluffy tail wagging behind him that made Kitty chuckle

" Where are you staying? " Winston asked

" Just here and there "

" You don't have a place to live? " Kitty asked and he shook his head.

" Then stay with us, we'll get to know each other more. "

It had been a few weeks since Kitty agreed to Alpin's courting.

Alpin was the kind of guy who, if he was in the modern world, would be the guy who'd sit in the farthest corner of the class with a leather bound journal in his hand and non-existent friends.

While Winston had been quite because of his insecurity. Which he not not anymore

Alpin genuinely enjoys being quiet. Talking when needed to and spend most of his time either making new types of medicine or cuddling with Kitty.

The snakes had been disappointed when they found out about their new father.

" Geesh mom, we really wanted to kill the guy " Ophi hissed

" I really wanted to rip him to shreds " Neheb added

" For using his awful wizardry on us. He isn't even Harry Potter or me for the matter " Draco finished

" Chill guys. And Draco, you aren't Draco Malfoy " Serpen sighed from his basket.

His brothers could really be very violent.

Kitty who heard their conversation looked at them in disbelief. She would have thought that the snakelings must have heard her ranting about her favourite novel, but she had never mentioned them after coming her.

She would always rant about the plot but never the characters

Kitty called all her males and waved at the sankes to come to them.

" How do you knows about Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy? " She asked, mainly eyeing Draco and Serpens

Alpin had been filled in ,on her situation and surprisingly it wasn't a big shock to him. He had apparently seen handful of humans in his life.

" Well remember you asked us to meditate and sort out our memories as ' ancestors ', ' dad ' and ' ourselves. In three different jars? " Neheb questioned as Kitty nodded

She had indeed made them meditate for two hours. She believed it would help them understand their own identity and not confuse their father or ancestors memories for theirs

" We had to make another jar " Ophi said

" It was for you " Serpens added

" We also had your memories. Everything you did, travelling places with your parents, eating icecream. which by the way mom, we really want you to make. Television, cars , zade meadows, everything " Draco finished in a rather suggestive tone in the end earing a smack from his embarassed mother

" I've never heard of such thing before " Eros frowned " do you remember your mom's memories more prominently or mine? "

" Mom " they all chorused

" Well, at first it was yours but mom's were more interesting when she started getting them "

" And so yours were pushed behind "
