Clytia was laying in bed with Nolam. She had been awake for two hours. She had the time to shower and go get his present ready. When she was done, she walked back into the bedroom and laid besides him on her side, her eyes roaming all over his face. He was on his stomach, his head facing her, both arms crossed under his head. He looked so youthful. Slowly, she caressed the contour of his face with her finger, her touch as light as a feather. She didn't want to wake him up. She loved this peaceful moment, with only their breathing filling the silence. Her finger touched the small wrinkles around his eyes. They were barely perceptible. But she didn't mind them. If anything, they made him even more handsome. She then went to his nose and smiled. It was cold. She leaned towards him and put a peck on it. Nolam scrunched his nose and turned his head on the other side. Clearly, he had no intention of waking up.

Clytia took her finger and started drawing random figures on the back of his neck. She loved to look at the contrast of her skin against his. She knew he hated being woken up for no reason. Specially when they had a long night.

"Stooop!" He whined, his voice laced with sleep.

She moved closer to him and kissed him on his neck. "Get up bae."

"Nooooo! Let me sleep. Just one more hour and I'll get up."

"Thirty minutes." She gave up and rolled on her back. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and opened them. She couldn't believe it was already Christmas morning. Their first Christmas together. She just wanted to lay in bed the whole day with him. However, that was not an option. They had to meet his whole family for their traditional Christmas brunch.

She sat on the bed and looked around the room. It was empty. Except for the mattress they were on at the moment and the small white artificial Christmas tree that was in a corner. Nolam had declared it a necessity before buying it two days before. He wanted to spend the holiday at their new house. It was his Christmas gift to the both of them. And he intended to start living there before the architect could start working on the modifications during the first week of January. After a while, she got up and walked out of the room.

Nolam woke up to Clytia singing. He kept his eyes closed. Maybe if he ignored her, she would let him sleep.

I don't want a lot for Christmas. There is just one thing I need. I don't care about the presents.

He rolled his eyes internally. She normally was not a morning person. Why couldn't she come back to bed and sleep some more?

Underneath the Christmas tree. I just want you for my own. More than you could ever know.

He felt the mattress shrunk under her as she sat behind him, her soft voice slowly but surely waking him up. He couldn't help but smile. He rolled on his back, his eyes still closed.

Make my wish come true. All I want for Christmas is you.

He felt her small fingers poking on his chest while she kept humming the song. "Open those beautiful eyes for me bae." She whispered.

"Aww! You think I'm beautiful?" He asked playfully, his voice still laced with sleep.

"You are stunningly beautiful! A striking beauty" She stated.

He couldn't help but laugh. She sounded like a child with her voice surprisingly higher than usual. He opened his eyes and cocked an eyebrow in her direction. "Fine. I am aw..."

He stopped mid sentence when he looked at her. "What is that?" He asked, his eyes wide like a saucer.

He couldn't keep his eyes off her chest. This was unexpected. His eyebrows met in a frown. "What is that Cly?" He asked one more time.
