We were both inside the car inspecting carefully Nana's ranch from outside.

"It's bigger than the pictures" Blaze mentioned making me hum in agreement "It has this telenovela climate going on right?"

"Yeah, I know... Let's hope this weekend doesn't turn into one big telenovela" I hoped causing him to laugh at me

"Aren't telenovelas mostly about forbidden desire and irrational drama?" he asked curiously, I looked at him surprised by his knowledge while nodding my head calmly

"Well yes I guess manly it is yes"

"Then your family has everything for this weekend to turn into a Mexican telenovela"

"Ah AH Ah"I mocked a laugh while he smiled triumphantly

"Look you even have a scenario" He smiled kissing my cheek quickly and getting ready to get off the car but he stopped in his way when he was scared by the image of my Uncle Joe waving at us from outside the window of the car looking like a psychopath

"Maybe a join terror to it" He whispered while smiling at my Uncle.

"Noted" I said getting off the car "Hey Uncle Joe" I smiled while walking to the trunk of the Range Rover

"Hey peanuts, how are you?" he asked while embrancing me in a warm hug

"Ready for a Vargas weekend" I smiled

"Ah- You always were good at lying" he claimed pointing at my face. Blaze got near us opening the car trunk and taking our bags out of it.

"How are you son? " Uncle Joe asked tapping on Blaze's back

"Pretty good and you sir?"

"I've been better... You'll know what I mean when you step inside"My uncle warned pointing at the entrance of the house "Good luck" he tapped Blaze's back and vanished from our side

"By the way, you really don't know your grandma's age?" he questioned handing me some bags

"No one knows... I tried once but she is the pro at deceiving "

"C'mon you got to have a number at  least" He said with some raather enthusiams

"Ok... so a while ago I tried to do the math" I started while he nodded attentiously "She does a big event in every 5 years like these one today and tomorrow so that leads me to believe she is either making a pair number lie 50, 60,70-"

"or 55, 65, 75" he said completing my thougth making me smile

"Yeah exactly! The thing is I am stuck between two numbers"

"How so?"

"My Uncle Joel  is the oldest of the four and when he was born my grandparents were still in Columbia and one time I heard she was quite old to have a baby according to the time... so she was probably in the beggining of her 20's"

"That's late?" He questioned with a suprised face making me chuckle

"For the time... yes " I smiled "So let's presume that in the worst scenarios she had 21 which is like super late back in the day to be pregnant, my aunt Linda was next with one year of difference and then my aunt Paloma 9 months later ,finally my mother was born 2 years later... since everyone is this family is quite a liar I only believe in my mother's age because I saw her birth certificate hidden in our attic"

"What a detective"

"My mother is 46, so let's presume my grandma had uncle Joel at 21 more one year to my aunt linda and 9 months to my aunt paloma making it around 23 years and more 2 years for my mother to be born"
