Happy Birthday dear...

Mick, Keith, and their questionably costumed cohorts said, "You Can't Always Get What You Want," but that doesn't mean its okay for anyone else to have it either.

Elizabeth got Ella ready and put her in her car seat. She grabbed her folders of classwork. She put them in her bag and grab the car seat and headed down to the street. She hailed a cab knowing Chuck had the limo. She got her in the cab and buckled in and told the cab driver to go to Columbia. She arrived at Columbia and got out grabbing the car seat and her bag. She paid the cab driver and started walking across campus. She dropped off all her stuff and picked up other work and ran into Nate.

"Out and about running errands"

"Ella here is the best little errand helper" she said "Can you believe she is a little over 2 weeks old"

"Crazy" he said.

"Well I have to run by the coffee shop and grab pastries for Eric's party. Will I see you there?"

"Of course it's Eric's birthday"

She smiled at him

"I will see you and this cute princess later" he replied.

She kissed his cheek and hailed another cab. She got over to her coffee shop and walked in. She sat the car seat on the table

"Is this our newest member of the band?" Drew asked peaking over.

"This is Ella Danielle Bass" she replied.

"Love the name" he said. "It's because of what Chuck used to call you right? He called you Cinderella after the Masquerade ball? Didn't you use to call him Devil?"

"Yeah, I did thank you for the reminder" she replied. "We thought about it for her middle name but decided to name her after my brother instead. Chuck was super bummed but he got over it."

"Not after Jenny?"

"I love my sister but Ella Jennifer just didn't sound right" she replied. "And neither did Ella Tallulah which is J's middle name."

"No Odette either?"

I always wanted to give my middle name as a first name to a future daughter"

"Why didn't you this time?"

"Because she was meant to be Ella." She said glancing at Ella.

"How are you doing?"

"I spend most of my time talking to an infant so it's amazing I haven't lost my mind but other than that I still am maintaining high marks in all my classes."

"That's good, and the shop and rink is in great hands. We had the couple's night there for Valentine's Day and it was packed. It was amazing. Also your email said you talked to Howard Archibald about a finance manager position. Is that wise? He did..."

"I know what he did and he has learned his lesson. Plus he's not even sure he wants to."

"Okay"

"I actually wanted to get a coffee. I missed it so much and a box of our finest pastries."
