Elizabeth sat on the couch playing her guitar. Ella was passed out in the bedroom so she thought it was a good time to get some playing done. The elevator dinged and some women along with Chuck and Jack walked out.
"If I had known this was what you meant when you invited me for a corporate retreat, I might have packed differently."
"You didn't need clothes for mistress Katya's blindfold trust exercise, but I would wear something more suitable when I thank you officially for saving my life"
"What? From that arsonist Russell Thorpe? That was a year ago"
"Gentlemen" Elizabeth said standing up and putting her guitar down.
"Princess. By far my favorite of the Humphrey's" Jack said hugging her. She pulled away and stood by Chuck. "When Chuck mentioned he was seeing you I didn't believe it but here you are"
"Here I am" she replied then looked at Chuck.
"I meant the car accident" Chuck said. "Your blood donation"
"I am gonna leave you two for this. Family brunch. I'll be at your event tonight" she said then kissed him.
*Chuck and Jack*
They watched Elizabeth leave the room and Chuck turned back to Jack.
"After my body rejected the first transfusion, and I needed a family member. They of course couldn't use Ella because she is just a baby so they called you"
"Oh that" he replied.
"Well I wouldn't be here without you" Chuck replied "I'm eternally grateful"
"Yeah, well I considered letting you die and taking all your billions" Jack replied "That's probably why you let me have all the hot ones last night"
"That and I'm committed to Elizabeth, this is our chance and I'm not gonna ruin it this time" he replied "My second gift...is a big larger. I've endowed a new wing at the hospital where I was treated. It's going to be the Jack Bass Pavilion. Tonight is the ribbon cutting ceremony for the renovation"
"That is what Princess was talking about?" Jack asked "You're not just trying to get me to the hospital to put me in rehab?"
"No, but that said, you might wanna get rid of some of the evidence of last night's exploits before we go"
"I'll sleep it off" Jack replied and turned to the girls.

She got Ella ready and left. She got outside and began to walk and took the subway to Brooklyn. She walked in just to see everyone sitting.
"Rock star. Just in time" her dad said and she sat down with Ella
"You know, I never knew that the croissants in Brooklyn rivaled Sant Ambroeus" Blair said.
"They don't. I ran up there this morning" Lily said.
"I was that way, Lily; I could have grabbed some on my way this way" Elizabeth said grabbing one.
