In our modern age, there are so many ways for information to travel and yet with all our tablets and smartphones, there are still some people who like get their morning dish the old fashioned way even without the information highway good news always seems to travel fast but bad news? Elizabeth walked into the coffee shop with Ella on her hip.
"Hey boss" Matt said sitting at a table.
"It's always weird seeing you on this side and not the other side." She replied "And why are you here on your day off, you think you would want to stay away from here.
"Drew is working today"
"Hey B...hey Ella" Drew said and Ella giggled
"I see where I rank now" she replied "Can I get a coffee and a milk for her"
"Of course. Carter is upstairs" he said.
"Oh" she said "Can I get those to go then"
"Why are you avoiding him?" Matt asked.
"It's complicated" she said as Drew handed her the 2 drinks. "Thank you"
She headed to the Loft to visit her dad. She opened the door while she heard fighting.
"Then how about you give me a call when you're ready to be a partner again"
"Sorry to interrupt" Elizabeth said covering Ella's ears
"Lily was just leaving" Rufus said and Lily left.
"You okay Dad?" she asked
"Yeah, Rock star I'm good. What brings you by?"
