Royal Visit

Marco was walking out of his bedroom, planning on taking his day slow and easy. It was the weekend. But it seemed fate had other plans as, when he went to step on the stairs, he slipped and found that they'd been replaced by a water slide.

He began screaming as not only did all of this happen very suddenly, but now his socks were wet! The water slide eventually spat him out into a pool where the living room used to be. He surfaced and began coughing up water as he glared at Aster, who was sitting by the pool in swim trunks.

"Maybe give me a heads up next time?!" - M

"I left a note on your door." - A

He shrugged.

"My parents are gonna freak out when they see this!" - M

"Cannonball!" - Rafael

He jumped into the pool, splashing Marco all over again. He was in a yellow Speedo.

"Relax, mijo! This is like a vacation!" - R

Marco looked confused before realizing what was up.

"You told them?!" - M

"I figured they would know eventually, so why not make it seem fun instead of dangerous?" - A

Marco sighed.

"Fine, but please try to give me a better heads up next time..." - M

He blew a raspberry at Marco. There was a knock on the door and Aster went to answer it.

"Hel-oh my god..." - A

His dad was there. River Johansson Butterfly. King of the Butterfly Kingdom. He looked about as noble as ever.

"Hey, dad..." - A

"Hello-!" - R

"I need to clean something really quick!" - A

He slammed the door shut before he could come in. He began to absolutely blast everything back to normal before opening the door. His mother wouldn't exactly approve of him using magic for fun.

"Dad! What brings you to Earth?" - A

"Well, I was in the neighborhood and!...well...your mother banished me from the castle..." - R

"What did you do this time?" - A

He said, having a deadpanned expression.

"Nothing! Nothing! I just left a garment or two laying around. I thought perhaps you'd let your old man stay here for a day!" - R

He gave a pleading look. Aster tried to resist but sighed before letting him in. He came into the house as a servant began to drag in River's luggage.

"You know I don't actually live here, right? I just visit a lot." - A

Rafael then came up to River and hugged him.

"Oh!" - River

"Of course you can stay, you are Familia!" - Rafael

He put River down.

"Good, good. Then it's decided! Father-Son day!" - R

"Yayyy..." - A

He took River deeper inside and gave him a brief tour. He seemed to be entranced by the bathroom the most.

"What a glorious throne! Why does it have a hole?" - R

He asked while sitting on the toilet.

"Um, it's a toilet, dad. Humans don't have magic here, so they do their business on that and then flush it." - A
