I felt a hand touch my face as I began to wake back up. I knew from the soft dawn outside that I had actually fallen asleep in Jayon's car. He had put his jacket over me, and the sound of smooth r&b played on his radio. I looked at him shyly, pulling my seat back up. I seen on his dashboard that it was 4:37 in the morning. Fear struck over me in a matter of seconds, my mother had to go to work in just 2 more hours. I needed to get back inside my house.

"You good?" Jayon asks.

"I have to go back inside my house," I told him. The moment I tried to move my legs I felt a uncomfortable pain.

"Let me take you in," he offered, watching me wince. "You can't," I told him quietly. My voice still seemed like it was audibly restrained.

He shook his head, pulling out a blunt from his door holder. "I knew you would start acting different once we had sex," he mumbles.

"I'm not acting different Jayon. Sorry if I'm not as talkative but I'm tired, and you can't take me back in because my mother could be awake. She has to go to work in just 2 more hours."

A look of uncertainty flashed across his face. "You're right, I'm sorry," he started. "How do you feel though? Mentally?"

"Fine," I said, but I felt...weird.

"Do you feel weird?" He asked, making me look at him unsurely.

"Yeah. A little. How'd you know?"

"From experience. I knew you wouldn't feel right after, you were a virgin," he said, blowing smoke from his mouth. "I'm just glad I gave you the pleasure you deserved,"

I smiled. "I'm glad too," I tell him. I realized I hadn't bled on him, and that made me happier inside. I knew not every girl was a bleeder when they had their v cards snatched, thankfully I'd been one of those girls.

"Now go, before your mom beats both of our asses," he said, unlocking his door.

"Jayon, I have to put my pants back on," I tell him. "Oh shit, you're right," he says locking his doors back again.

I laughed a bit, picking up my panties and sliding my pants back on. "Let me keep those," he winked before I opened the door.

"No," I rolled my eyes. "Bye Jayon,"

I heard him grin before closing his door back again while walking to my door slowly. I was definitely sore, and I probably wouldn't be able to walk right for at least a couple hours. He started his engine and threw out the rest of the blunt he had, leaving the front of my house immediately.

I sighed before opening my door, awaiting to see my mother standing there before me. I had been caught.

The look on her face was upsetting. She looked like she couldn't even look at me.

"Were you with Jayon?" She asks.

"Yeah," I said lowly, trying my best not to make eye contact with her. I closed the door in silence, locking it.

She went from looking at me to the panties I had in my hand. "I have so many thoughts going through my mind right now Dj. The amount of pissed off I am with you is disgusting. I'm disgusted with you," she scolds. She snatches my underwear from my hands, forcing me to let go of them. "I want you out of my house," she says, throwing them in the garbage nearby. "You're grown enough to fuck? You're grown enough to walk in here at 4 something in the goddamn morning? You're grown enough to get the fuck out of my house," she coldly states. She grabs her purse from the counter, and shoves passed me as she left out the door. "If you're not out of my house by the time I'm home-"

"I got it," I said dryly, holding in the tears I had in me. "I'll be gone,"

She slams the door angrily, leaving me to stand there feeling sorry for myself. I knew one day I would have gotten caught sneaking around with Jayon, but why did it have to be when I finally lost my virginity to him? Now she was making me feel worthless, like a slut when that was the opposite of what I was. I gave him my virginity because I knew for a fact he was gonna be the man I ended up with. But would my mother ever look at it like that? From my point of view? No, never. She was going to look at it from her judgmental perspective, always.

I made my way up the stairs, slamming my door loudly enough to be sure it woke Deon up. I wanted him to know I was awake, so that he could come in my room to talk to me, to maybe even comfort me. But he didn't.

*Jayon's POV*

The weather was crisp. It was the perfect temperature, and I couldn't think of anything at the moment that didn't have to do with Dj. She was a recurring thought. I kept wondering about how she was feeling and what she was doing. If I ever seemed like I was attached to her before, I really was attached to her now.

I looked at my dashboard, seeing that it was 12 at noon. It was crazy how fast time had flew by. Just this morning I was driving away from Dj's house, now I was driving all around the city with no destination.

There wasn't a lot of places I could have gone. I didn't wanna go home, Dj's house was an option but I couldn't go back there yet, Amira's house was an option but I didn't wanna be around her, Derek was barely ever at his own house, and that apartment complex was warn out to the max.

My phone begins to vibrate and the screen flashes Dj's name, along with a picture of her I snuck while she was asleep. I answer it immediately, listening to her sniff through the speaker.

"Dj?" I quickly ask. "What's wrong?"

"I have to leave my house. She's kicking me out," she said. I could hear her voice breaking.

"Your mom?" I asked. I was shocked. It was weird how she had called me after I had just been thinking about going to her house.

"Yeah. I don't know where to go Jayon. Amber hasn't called me back and-"

"I'm coming to get you," I cut her off. The only way she would relax is if I was relaxed with her. I wasn't going to stress with her about this, I was under enough stress as it was. She needed a place to stay which meant their was only one place I could of kept her at and that was at my house.

"I love you," she tells me. I could still hear her talking through her tears. "I love you too," I told her, hanging up the phone.

On the bright side, my mom would probably stop herself from yelling at me once she seen I had company. Not that I was counting on it, she loved embarrassing me either way. Plus, I would have actually enjoyed staying home if I had Dj there with me. She made everything better.

I just hoped her mother would forgive her, for whatever she did. She was her daughter, she couldn't stay mad at her forever.
