You had been having a conversation with Sam about your growing feelings towards a certain feathered creature. Though you never came right out & said that it was Cas specifically in case he had just popped in out of nowhere during the middle of your conversation. Which Sam seemingly understood after you hurried up & shushed him after asking "Just so we're clear we are talking about Cas, right?" Though he said it a little louder than normal which is why you started to freak out. Since in a way you were a little unsure about what to do with the situation since you doubted that Cas even had feelings for you let alone the types of feelings you had for him. But your conversation with Sam didn't go much further since any other than Cas himself interrupted you two by saying how the feelings you had were mutual.
